AJ Allen , Realtor

AJ Allen spent his early years in the resort town of McCall, Idaho before moving to Sun Valley, Idaho (another Idaho resort town) to attend high school. He then attended Northeast Louisiana University on a track scholarship. However, AJ’s determination of becoming a Marine was too strong and he decided to join the United States Marine Corps in 1989. After leaving the Marine Corps in 1993, AJ moved back to Idaho with his family, deciding to make Boise, Idaho his permanent residence. He says, “There’s no better place to raise a family.”

AJ began his career in real estate in 2001 as a lender, which allowed him to help his clients achieve the American dream - home ownership. In 2006, he obtained his real estate license and has been a full-time Realtor® ever since. One of his favorite parts of being a Realtor® is helping his fellow Veterans purchase and sale their home, not to mention working with first time home buyers trying to find their first home. AJ also enjoys helping his investor clients identify investment properties to add to their portfolios. He says, “I’m very grateful that my clients allow me to be an integral part of the buying and selling process with them. I always love observing the excitement in my clients that comes along with purchasing a new property.”

When he’s not working in real estate, AJ is actively working within the community. He is the current President of the Subic Bay Marines, a member of the United States Marine Corps League local chapter, an advisory board member to Filo (a start-up company for military and civilians), a past ambassador for the Boise Chamber, and a past HOA president and vice-president. He also donates his time and resources to Boise Impact Club, Rake up Boise, and Paint the Town. He enjoys taking advantage of Idaho’s four seasons that allow for snow biking, snowmobiling, golfing, playing softball and volleyball. AJ also looks forward to taking his family camping, fishing, and hunting. He says, “There’s nothing like Idaho’s four seasons. There isn’t anywhere else I’d rather be living.”
