Carmen Wilson , Realtor
Carmen Wilson has been selling real estate since October 2015. She chose a career in real estate because she has a passion for helping people. She says, “I wanted to have a career that allowed me to grow as much as I wanted while still being able to spend time with my family. Working as a real estate professional fits every aspect of my life.”
Carmen’s number-one goal in serving her clients is to empower them, knowing that with her guidance they are making educated decisions with their home goals. Her favorite part of being a real estate professional is meeting new people and watching their dreams become a reality. She says, “I have always loved making new friends and the people in this valley are wonderful.”
Originally from the southern side of the Big Island of Hawaii, Carmen attended West Hawaii Community College with an emphasis in business. She relocated to the Treasure Valley in April of 2015 with her husband and sons because of Idaho’s immense outdoor activities and accessibility to amenities. She says, “We love playing in the rivers, hiking, camping, and spending a lot of time at the many wonderful parks in the valley. The friendly people and the abundant options for family fun provides a great place for us to raise our kids!”
A self-described social butterfly, Carmen volunteers weekly at Prospect Elementary and enjoys being a member of the PTA. She’s participated in Rake Up Boise and Paint the Town and sits on the board for the Havasu Creek HOA. In the past, she volunteered at her local Humane Society in Kailua Kona, HI.
A previous career as a veterinary technician taught Carmen how to counsel her clients through some of life’s most difficult decisions. Her proficiency in reviewing paperwork and consent forms and educating her clients now carries over into her real estate business. Carmen attended Idaho Real Estate School and then supplemented her training with the Brian Buffini Peak Producers program.
When she’s not busy doing real estate, Carmen loves to ride horses (she was involved in competitive dressage throughout her youth) and is an avid bookworm and outdoor enthusiast. She says, “Our family loves to go on road trips and explore Idaho’s natural beauty. We love playing in the rivers, hiking, camping, and four-wheeling in the mountains. I also love DIY and upcycled interior design. My husband and I have even built a few pieces of wood furniture for our home!”
The Mike Brown Group is so excited to welcome Carmen to our team.
