Heidi Tidd has been around the real estate business for over twenty years. She says, “My husband started a title company in Boise over sixteen years ago from our home (TitleOne). I have been so fortunate to play a small role in helping him and his team grow the company from a small operation with just a few employees to becoming a leader in the real estate market throughout the state of Idaho."
For Heidi, a career in real estate was a natural fit for her after raising her children. She says, “Being a Realtor combines my love of homes and home décor with working closely with people. I truly enjoy helping to make the process of buying or selling a home as enjoyable and stress-free as possible for my clients. My number one goal in serving my clients is to make home buying or selling a truly wonderful experience."
There are so many fun things about being in the business of helping people find the perfect home and Heidi says, “My favorite part of the business is working closely with my clients. I always look forward to developing long-term relationships with my clients and being a great resource for all of their real estate needs.” Heidi understands that real estate isn’t just about placing people in homes, it’s about listening to the short and long term goals of her clients and making sure she aligns those goals with the perfect property.
Heidi graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University in Psychology and a Master of Science from Old Dominion University in Early Childhood Education. Her degree in education has given her the opportunity to teach both young children and adults and has given her great insight into how to communicate, negotiate, and develop win-win strategies for her real estate clients.
Heidi was born and raised in the Treasure Valley and briefly moved to Virginia and California for her husband’s work. They returned to the Treasure Valley shortly after having their first child because they knew they wanted to be near their families and raise their own family in the city they loved the most. Heidi was very active volunteering her time in her children’s classes, being the team mom for their sports activities, and organizing fundraisers for school and sports events.
When Heidi isn’t working in her real estate business, she’s spending most of her free time with her family. As a family, they enjoy being on the lake in McCall, skiing, and golfing. Heidi also really enjoys playing tennis, working in her garden, decorating her home, and photography. She says, “The Treasure Valley is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. We have a great quality of life here. Although we have experienced incredible growth here, we’ve been able to maintain the charm and feel of a smaller community.”
