Jeanne Sheldon has been selling real estate since 2008 and truly believes that real estate chose her, not vice versa. Before obtaining her real estate license, she worked in new construction managing a design studio for several builders. She assisted new homebuyers with their structural and interior finish selections to ensure their build job turned into their dream home. Many job opportunities came to her along the way, but all paths kept leading her into becoming a licensed real estate professional.
After careful consideration, becoming a Realtor was the natural next step for Jeanne. She enjoys selling real estate because every purchase and sale transaction is unique, as are the clients for whom she works. She says she enjoys taking on a challenge--whether it’s to find her client their new home or to sell their current home in a timely manner and at the best price possible. Her experience in new construction and design affords her the knowledge to point out benefits of certain interior finishes and functionality of floor plans. Jeanne also has a bachelor’s degree in business management and regularly attends continuing education classes to make ensure she can thoroughly educate her clients on the real estate market.
Jeanne says, “My number-one goal in serving my clients is to help them to make informed decisions during the buying and selling process. Buying a home is one of the biggest purchases they’ll make in their life and it can be scary and stressful. It’s my goal to educate my clients to help demystify the process and alleviate any stress they may encounter.” Jeanne’s favorite part of the real estate business is the people she meets along the way and she treasures the amazing relationships she’s developed over the years.
Boise has been Jeanne’s home since 2005 and she says, "My favorite thing about living in Boise is everything. Honestly, Boise has so much to offer--whether you enjoy a bike ride along the Greenbelt, attending a sports event, or spending the evening at the Shakespeare Festival and everything in between. Not to mention that Boise is centrally located to easily experience many more adventures.”
When Jeanne isn’t working, she enjoys traveling, attending her son’s football or soccer games, reading, and exploring events around town and in Idaho. She stays connected to the community by volunteering for Paint the Town, Rake Up Boise, and fundraising for the local chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society via Team In Training.
