Kimberly Gonzales joins the Mike Brown Group as a transaction coordinator. Before joining the group, she worked as a database and marketing manager and quickly progressed into listing coordination with some transaction management duties. She has also worked as an inside sales agent and client care coordinator. In her role as a transaction coordinator, Kimberly especially enjoys managing the successful implementation of processes to take a real estate client from the initial contract stage all the way to the closing table and fostering the relationship that continues beyond.
Kimberly says, “I chose real estate because I wanted to work in a fast-paced environment where I felt my skills would be best utilized. I LOVE the fast pace. I love being able to come to work and never know what the day has in store. It allows me to get good (and maybe even great) at a lot of different things. I also love working with the multitude of people that you can encounter and helping them through the major decision of a home purchase. Trying to be considerate of their anxieties during this (sometimes stressful) process and listening to and answering questions is my number-one goal. There is no greater feeling than being able to overcome the many obstacles that can be thrown our way and then making it to the finish line and handing clients their keys.”
While working in her past customer service roles, Kimberly learned how to communicate with and understand a variety of cultures and personalities, which is infinitely helpful in the real estate world. She says, “I also have vast experience in the tech world and in my position as a listing coordinator it’s beneficial to know different programs and become as efficient as possible at my job, which is very important to me.“
Kimberly has lived in Boise since March of 2009 and says her favorite thing about our community is, “Everything!“ She loves how safe it is here and what an amazing piece of the world we have here in the Treasure Valley. She says, “I love fishing and I love being on the water. I also love to camp and play with my three dogs. I have a short hair dachshund, a longhaired dachshund, and a Blue Heeler. We enjoy going to the park and letting them run wild.”
In addition to enjoying the Idaho outdoors with her fiancée, Kimberly and her fiancée try to do an event every summer called C.A.S.T (Catch A Special Thrill), an event that is put on to take disabled or disadvantaged kids out fishing for the day on a boat. Each child is provided with a rod and a tackle box and then all the boats line up at the dock and a kid and a parent are assigned to each boat. Kimberly says, “The joy and excitement that is seen and heard from these children is so heartwarming to be a part of. This combines our love of bass fishing with our love of giving to others. It is truly a magical day. “
The Mike Brown Group is so excited to welcome Kimberly Gonzales to our team.
