Laura Gray , Realtor
Laura Gray was first licensed to practice real estate in Idaho in 1997, but she has been working as a real estate professional since the early 1990’s, (obtaining her Washington real estate license to manage large apartment communities in the Seattle area). Born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, Laura is a third generation Idahoan. After moving back to Idaho from Seattle, she was offered a sales manager position for a real estate development project and obtained her Idaho real estate license in 1997. Laura sold real estate in the Coeur d’Alene area (North Idaho) until relocating to Meridian in 2011.
While living in North Idaho, Laura worked for the Idaho Department of Labor for ten years, while selling real estate at the same time. North Idaho is very seasonal so it was the perfect marriage of careers. Real estate eventually won out as her full-time profession. Laura says, “I love meeting new people. I love hearing their stories, learning what makes them tick and ultimately helping them with one of the biggest decisions they will ever make. It’s a privilege to be a part of this important process.”
Laura’s number-one goal in serving her clients is for them “…to know without a doubt that I truly cared about them and that helping them meet their goals was my priority.” She continues, “I believe that effective, consistent communication is critical to a trouble-free transaction. I’m never too busy to provide same-day answers.”
Laura studied banking/finance at The University of Alaska Southeast and social work at North Idaho College with an emphasis in cultural diversity and communication. She’s attended countless seminars, workshops and classes related to her service of others in both social work and real estate. When asked why she moved from Coeur d’Alene to the Boise area Laura replies, “The weather - the sun is almost always shining! I also love the people, who are among the friendliest I’ve encountered anywhere.”
When Laura’s not busy working her real estate business, she regularly donates and volunteers for several animal rescue groups within the community. Her favorite activity of late is walking the rescue dogs at Boise Bully Breed Rescue, “A win-win as we both need the exercise.” Laura also enjoys boating, water skiing, camping, and snow skiing. She says, “Ultimately, raising my daughters, Makayla, 19, and Courtney, 18, to be kind, contributing members of the community has been my most important job of all!”
We’re so thrilled to have Laura on our team!
