With over 14 years of experience in the real estate industry, Shelly Henry has become addicted to exceeding expectations as she helps people find their dream homes. Shelly believes that two of the most important life accomplishments are purchasing a house, and turning that house into a home. She feels privileged and honored to play an important role in these processes.
Shelly’s previous work experience includes working as a flight attendant for American Airlines and as a clinical patient advocate manager at a bustling private medical practice. Both of these occupations strengthened her ability to listen effectively, take initiative, and find solutions to problems. She uses all of these skills to build lasting and trusting relationships with each of her real estate clients.
Since becoming a realtor, Shelly has received designations as an associate broker and an accredited buyer representative from the National Association of Realtors. She is also a participant and member of the Graduate Realtor Institute. The courses at GRI greatly improved her ability to calculate worthwhile financial investments, while strengthening many other organizational and management skills. Shelly’s real estate background includes residential, investments, and commercial leasing.
Shelly and her husband moved to Boise in 2006 to be closer to their grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to new places, meeting new people, cooking, reading, and looking for inventive ways to decorate her own home.
