Boise Philharmonic—Idaho‘s oldest and largest performing arts organization, the orchestra performs a variety of pieces throughout their September to May season. They perform both in Boise and at the Nampa Civic Center in Nampa.
Idaho Dance Theater—A professional contemporary dance company that performs innovative choreography in styles ranging from modern jazz to classical ballet. IDT performs in Boise from October to May.
Idaho Shakespeare Festival—A Boise tradition for over 30 seasons, the Festival highlights the works of the famous bard, in addition to plays by some of the world‘s foremost writers. With their own outdoor amphitheater, the Shakespeare festival takes the stage to entertain over 50,000 people from June through September every year-it‘s Shakespeare under the stars!

Ste. Chapelle Winery Jazz Series—Running from June to October, enjoy a relaxing afternoon sipping the latest vintage and listening to the sounds of wonderful music. Ste. Chapelle is one of several local wineries with public events throughout the year, including regular wine tastings.
Caldwell Fine Arts—A community organization that produces at least ten performances (in all art styles), all held on the campus of Albertson College of Idaho.
Morrison Center for the Performing Arts/Nampa Civic Center—Both facilities are home to numerous events throughout the year, including special concerts, Broadway musicals, plays and recitals.
Basque Museum and Cultural Center—Boise is one of the largest centers of Basque culture in the United States. This museum celebrates the culture with exhibits featuring Basque traditions and artifacts. A Basque boarding house and a Basque market are located on the block, as well as street murals celebrating the hallmarks of this fascinating culture.
Ballet Idaho—Boise is home to the state‘s professional classical ballet company. The group presents performances of classical and contemporary work, including a version of The Nutcracker that encour-ages the participation of local children. The company is dedicated to the love of dance and prides themselves on providing the community with high quality dance productions.
Boise Art Museum—This contemporary museum displays a selection of beautiful pieces on permanent display, as well as nationally traveling exhibits from artists, and statuary garden. Past exhibits have included the works of Degas, Frank Lloyd Wright, and a display of Ancient Egypt.
Opera Idaho—Celebrating the classical style of opera, Opera Idaho takes to a variety of stages around Boise and around the state, sharing their love of performance. Their season runs November—April, with bonus events throughout the summer.
