Boise Veterans Parade

Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10 AM – 11:30 AM

This is a fun-filled free family event! There will be music, trucks, tanks, and so much more! Join us in downtown Boise on Saturday, November 3rd at 10AM for the parade. We will have a beautiful opening ceremony on the Capital steps at 10AM and the parade will follow at 10:15AM.

The parade route begins on 10th Street and travels East on Jefferson to 4th Street where it turns South to Bannock, then proceeds West, ending on 11th Street.

This year's parade theme, "A Special Salute to WWI Veterans - a war that changed the world”. The effects of World War I drastically altered the global map and changed the course of history. The Great War caused political, economic and social changes for the United States., elevating its position in the world as a military and industrial leader. At the eleventh-hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, World War I ended. Even though the war ended a century ago, soldiers who died there still deserve their moment of remembrance.

Please join us in honoring our wonderful heroes. Our veterans, our soldiers, and their families! Click here:
