St. Alphonsus Festival of Trees (November 22nd through November 26th)
Boise Centre, 850 W. Front Street, Boise, Idaho 83702. Share in the magic as the Boise Centre becomes home to a wonderland of holiday splendor, featuring hundreds of lavishly decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and inspirational decor. Tickets can be purchased at the door: Adults - $7.00, Military - $5.00, Children (ages 3-12) - $4.00, Seniors (62 and better) - $4.00, Family Pass (up to six individuals) $30.00, Children (2 and under) - free. Click here for the schedule of events

Winter Garden aGlow (November 23rd through January 1st)
Idaho Botanical Garden, 2355 N. Penitentiary Raod, Boise. Come and see the garden's display of over 300,000 sparkling lights and see Santa, local choirs, vendors, and more. Admission: $10 general, $8 for IBG members and children 5-12 (purchase in advance otherwise it's $2 more at the gate). Click here for more information

Downtown Boise Tree Lighting (Friday, November 24th)
5:30 to 7:30 pm at The Grove Plaza, located at N. 8th and W. Main streets. You won't want to miss this fun-filled annual event that's a downtown Boise Tradition! Boise Mayor Bieter lights up the Christmas tree on The Grove Plaza, while those in attendance sing carols and join in the candle lighting ceremony. The community is invited to attend this traditional event that lights up downtown and welcomes the holiday season to the Treasure Valley.

Sippin' in the City (Thursday, November 9th)
800 W. Main Street, 17th floor. 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Join Idaho winemakers while eating treats from Idaho culinary artists and listen to local music. www.sippininthecity.com for more information. 

Boise Holiday Parade (Saturday, November 18th)
Beginning at 10 am at 10th and Jefferson streets, proceeding east on Jefferson to 4th St., south on Bannock St., and then west on 11th St. Click here for a map
