If you’re thinking of selling your house, you need to be sure that it’s spotless. This means that even if it’s fall or the dead of winter, you have to clean as though it’s spring. You have to get your equipment and supplies together, and get areas that haven’t been touched in a while. Fortunately, it doesn’t really have to be a horrific process. Here are a few tips to help get you started:

  • Start with small repairs. If you can’t do them, or no one in your household is handy, hire someone.
  • To make sure everything gets done, don’t move from room to room. Finish one area before you start another. When one area is perfect, move to the next.
  • Clean from top to bottom and inside to outside. There’s not much point, for example, in vacuuming if you follow
