Over the weekend, one of the most anticipated events of the spring kicked off: The Spring Boise Parade of Homes. Unlike years past, where homes could be toured personally, this year’s event is entirely virtual. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all of the participating houses will feature virtual tours, video, and lots of photography, allowing people to “visit” the properties from the comfort of their own home and at their convenience.
Let’s introduce you to the four homes beginning in the Bridgetower West community.
Bridgetower West is located in northwest Meridian near Ten Mile and McMillan roads. The community offers bike and walking paths, a basketball court, clubhouse, pool, and four open space parks.
Ninety Degree Construction
The Bridgetower West community, located in northwest Meridian, is the home of Ninety Degree Construction’s Parade of Homes entry. This home features a single-level design that has four bedrooms, two and a half baths, and a large open floorplan for the main living area.
Say hello to “The Karmen.”
As you bound up the walkway toward the front entry, you’ll notice a relaxing waterfall that greets guests and residents approaching the double-doored front entrance.
Walking into the main foyer, you’ll be bathed in natural light thanks to the large open concept floorplan and oversized floor to ceiling windows.
The kitchen contains Bosch appliances, loads of cabinets, and has a large U-shaped island that is ideal for family gatherings. Additionally, the island has a uniquely designed built-in breakfast space that’s separate from the main dining area.
The owner’s suite is a sanctuary with a generous-sized master bedroom. The spa-like master bath with large windows, a walk-in shower that features a skylight, and a large freestanding soaker tub is a delight. The suite also has an oversized walk-in closet, able to accommodate the wardrobe of the most discerning fashionista.
One of the bedrooms serves as a media room that features a projection screen and in-ceiling audio that’s going to be a fantastic refuge for movie buffs.
The home also features an oversized covered patio with a double-sided fireplace that is perfect for outdoor entertaining or living.
Now, let’s pay a visit to our other three properties that are located in the new Eagle Mountain Estates community.
Eagle Mountain Estates
Eagle Mountain Estates is nestled just north of Floating Feather Road in western Eagle. The community features large lots with abundant common areas and walking paths, as well as expansive views. It also has a community pool with changing rooms adjacent to it.
The first Parade home we’ll visit in Eagle Mountain Estates is Asbury Homes’ entry, “The Evelyn.” Featuring three bedrooms and three and a half baths, this 2,867 square-foot single-level stunner is located on .449 acres and has a three-car garage.
The light and bright open concept floorplan provides skillfully designed spaces with exposed beam ceilings in the great room, built-ins surrounding the fireplace, and adjoining gourmet kitchen with extensive cabinetry, custom tile vent hood, and a butler’s pantry. The kitchen features Bosch appliances, including a double oven. The woodwork ties together nicely and creates a warm, comfortable space.
The versatile home office has easy access to the kitchen and the home’s front porch. Each bedroom suite has its own bathroom, complete with tiled showers. The master bath features a luxurious freestanding soaker tub as well as a zero-threshold shower with dual showerheads.
The open sightlines from the entry, allow you to see through the large windows in the living area to the backyard. Since the home has a lot of windows, they provide lots of natural light and the large open floor plan is perfect for entertaining.
Additionally, this home features a large covered patio and an oversized RV bay, ideal for the recreationalist.
The Evelyn Parade of Homes home is pending sale, however, there is another model being built.
The second stop in Eagle Mountain Estates is at Biltmore’s stunning new floorplan, the “Coronado.” A spectacular residence that’s built for entertaining as well as those who happen to love dogs.
The home features a sophisticated chef’s kitchen with Sub-Zero/Wolf appliances, quartz countertops, and a 13-foot breakfast bar/island as well as a large butler’s kitchen and pantry. The kitchen island also includes a built-in feeding station for dogs (or cats).
The residence includes a guest suite that has its own private access, bedroom, master bath, and living area—ideal for visiting guests or extended family members needing a place to live.
Additionally, the home features a gorgeous master retreat with a spa-like bathroom that has a large soaker tub and separate vanities. There’s also a towel warming drawer in the master bath, further elevating the luxury of the master retreat.
The laundry room features a Dutch door, a pet wash station, and plenty of cabinets and workspace.
The outside features an expertly landscaped yard, with raised garden boxes ready for the resident green thumb, and a large covered patio that has a fireplace. The scene is perfect for outdoor entertaining.
The house is a single level with a 3-car garage and an RV bay, featuring four bedrooms, three and a half baths with 4,421 square feet of living space. The home sits on .451 acres of land.
The last house we’ll explore in Eagle Mountain Estates is Todd Campbell Custom Homes’ “The Florence,” where mid-century modern meets 2020 design. Tamara Rowley, the home’s interior designer, was inspired by the television series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” for selecting the house’s décor. “I loved the colors she wore and the New York look, and it sort of became an inspiration for me,” she says.
Welcome to the Florence.
Greeted by a soaring entryway – large, geometric windows flood the room with tons of natural light, drawing your attention to the grand and inviting great room.
“The window line is angled that follows the ceiling exactly, and that’s not an easy task to get that to be perfect,” Rowley says.
The luxurious kitchen features Thermador appliances, quartz countertops, and a massive island that’s perfect for entertaining.
“My favorite part of the house is the lighting fixtures that really enhance that midcentury (look),” says Rowley.
You can relax in the exquisite master retreat with vaulted ceilings, gorgeous custom design elements, and extensive cabinetry. The accent wall in the master bedroom is a work of art, with its theme carried into the master bath. Speaking of the master bath, it’s like a spa with a freestanding tub and floating showerheads.
The house has a large covered patio that’s perfect for outdoor entertaining.
The single-level home has three bedrooms and three baths and is approximately 2,938 square feet. It has a three-car garage and sits on .390 acres.
While you’re not able to visit the homes in person this spring, you can still visit them virtually at your convenience. The 2020 Boise Spring Parade of Homes runs now through May 10th, 2020. Please visit www.boiseparadeofhomes.com for details on how to view the properties.
