Real Estate in Caldwell, Idaho

The Caldwell real estate market has a lot of excellent variety for those looking to buy a detached single-family home. The sizes and styles of the homes for sale in Caldwell change quickly between its well established urban core and the rural outskirts, which isn't very far.

At the upper end of the market, rural properties dominate, particularly farming estates with homes upwards of 3000 square feet resting on very large properties. These rural areas have also been colonized by various new developments, offering homes from 2000 to 3000 square feet, in a range of new traditional designs.

For Caldwell's new construction homes, expect to see multiple front-facing gables, as well as various Craftsman details, like prominent eave supports, square pillars, shingles, and front porches. Alternatively, some new homes opt for a more old-world chateau feeling, with hipped roof lines descending on facades with decorative brick and masonry.

These homes also display the finest in modern craftsmanship and efficiency, with spacious, well-equipped interiors and a host of luxury features.

The majority of homes for sale in Caldwell can be classified as small to medium-sized homes in styles spanning the middle portion of the 20th century. Mid-century ranchers, to post-war minimal traditional cottages, and brick bungalows are some of the home designs within this range.

Many of these homes feature renovated interiors, with refurbished kitchens, new paint, and floors. Homes in larger developments, many built from the 1980s through to the early 2000s, will also have large street-facing garages, and partial upper levels. While older homes often boast large yards, starting as large as 1 acre.
