DESCRIPTION:During the national Week of the Young Child™ event\, communities across the country celebrate their youngest learners. In local celebrations across OUR state\, Idahoans raise awareness about the unique needs of young learners and celebrate everyone who makes a difference in their lives. \nWe culminate this week\, with the Celebration of the Young Child\, hosting a free community event focused on connecting families with quality community resources\, such as summer camps\, after-school programs\, early literacy information\, healthy eating tips\, and child care. Each vendor booth offers an activity for young children\, such as an art project or a new skill to learn. \nA list of activities for Week of the Young Child (April 1 – 7) and details for Celebration of the Young Child (April 15) can be found below!
