DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the tenth annual Scentsy Rock-a-Thon. \nFor low-income families\, residential treatment options are nearly non-existent in Idaho. On average\, every three days an Idaho family on Medicaid sends their child out of state in search of treatment. Unfortunately\, we know that long-term treatment success declines when: \nFamilies are not involved in treatment.\nAdditional trauma is created due to separation from family.\nThere is a lack of therapist continuity during aftercare.\nYouth don’t have local coordination to re-enter school and the community.\nNow\, we are bringing them home! The beautiful new Residential Center for Healing & Resilience includes two residential halls\, a wellness center\, a dining and recreation hall\, a year-round\, accredited on-site school and a welcome center for families. All this care is in support of one goal: helping kids heal and return to their families and communities in a safe and supported manner. \nThat’s where you come in – sign up to sit down! Scentsy is hosting a 12-hour\, community-wide\, Rock-a-Thon. From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.\, Friday\, Sept. 8\, 70 rocking chairs lined up outside Scentsy Commons along Eagle Road in Meridian will be rocking to raise money for the new center.
