SUMMARY:Ms Holmes & Ms Watson | Idaho Shakespeare Festival
DESCRIPTION:Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s iconic detective duo gets a bold\, modern makeover in Kate Hamill’s fast-paced comedy-mystery at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival. Follow Sherlock Holmes and Joan Watson — quirky\, codependent roommates turned unconventional crime-fighting team — as they navigate mysteries\, mayhem\, and a little pandemic fog. This highly theatrical escapade reimagines the world’s greatest sleuthing partnership with fresh\, irreverent energy\, pitting the pair against a cunning adversary who just might hold all the cards. Who’s solving who? Mystery has never been so clever\, or so much fun. Directed by Maggie Kettering\, it’s part of ISF’s milestone 50th anniversary season. \nThere’s no better place to take it in than ISF’s beloved outdoor amphitheater in the Barber Valley\, where nature and theater blend seamlessly under the summer sky. Pack a picnic\, grab a glass of wine\, and settle into the terraced seating or bring a blanket for the lawn. It’s a quintessential Boise summer tradition — and one of the best nights out the Treasure Valley has to offer.
