DESCRIPTION:Ready! Set! Participate! in the Nampa Recreation Department’s Kids Triathlon! This fun and challenging event is for kids ages 6-13 and will include swimming\, biking and running. The 3-event race not only promotes fitness but improves your child’s self confidence as they cross the finish line on their own. A great introduction to the sport\, participants will swim in Lincoln Pool followed by a safe bike and run on roads and grounds of Lions Park. All participants will receive an event bag and all finishers will receive a t-shirt. The transition areas will be in the parking lots and we strongly encourage friends and family to come cheer on these young competitors. All participants must wear a helmet for the bike portion of the triathlon and supply their own bike.

DESCRIPTION:Originally\, The Nampa Farm and Garden Market (as it was called then) was held in the parking lot across from what is now the Nampa Library. The first day for the Market was July 15th\, 1989. That first year\, there were only three vendors participating\, and customers were few. John and Afine persevered\, and the market began to grow. \nIn 1998\, the market moved to Downtown Nampa in front of the Nampa Train Depot Museum. In 2010\, the market moved again to Lloyd Square. \nThe market now hosts an average of 100 vendors per week\, offering a variety of produce\, foods\, crafts\, plants\, and flowers from local vendors.

Inside\, you’ll find a rotating lineup of twenty-plus bands\, including aka Belle\, Rollerdome\, Dedicated Servers\, Dirt Russell\, Porcelain Tongue\, Big Kisses\, and a long list of others who bring light to the Treasure Valley. Outside\, sets during sunset from Afrosonics\, Chief Broom\, and Shadow and Claw stretch music outside into the golden hour. This isn’t just a music event. Den of Sin is bringing its full burlesque and drag variety show. Boise Rockeoke turns the mic over to you with a live backing band. Ashley Rose Band threads jazz\, soul\, and Americana into something that feels like summer without sounding like a playlist. It’s designed to be both high energy and deeply chill—a place to move your body\, talk to strangers\, and escape the heat in good company. No velvet ropes\, no VIP sections\, no influencer panels. Just people. Just art. Just music. Tickets are $30 for the full weekend\, or $15 for a single day.
