DESCRIPTION:Celebrating all things winter\, the McCall Winter Carnival was inspired by the Payette Lake Winter Games\, first held in 1924 when a train from Boise brought 248 visitors to McCall. The official McCall Winter Carnival started in the 1960s\, and over the years\, the Carnival has grown into an iconic Idaho event bringing more than 60\,000 people to McCall each year.

Kid’s Fair is fun for the whole family! \nSINCE 1998\, KID’S FAIR HAS CREATED A FUN\, INTERACTIVE SETTING FOR KIDS AND PARENTS. \nBump fists and take pictures with your favorite characters \nJump around\, and choose from a variety of bouncy houses that best fits your sense of adventure. \nBe a superhero for a day\, or your favorite animal when you get your face painted. \nIf your feeling brave enough\, touch a boa constrictor\,  hold a baby lizard\, and feed an old grumpy turtle. \nThere will be a number of exciting stage performances featured throughout the day: Magic show\, Taekwondo\, Clowns\,  Dance Performances\,  and more. \nBe sure to stop by the many local vendor booths for free stuff\, and play games for big prizes.
