Any rule breakers out there\, this is your moment! Typically\, K-9s aren’t allowed on Indian Creek Plaza\, and I’m sure you’ve seen all our signs saying so. But\, for this event only\, we put all that signage in storage for the afternoon and welcome all your 4-legged besties to the party. Not only are they invited\, but they ARE the party! We cater to all things dog for our annual Dogtoberfest. \nWe’re going full Bavarian on this one and putting our own twist on the centuries-old German Oktoberfest. What better way to celebrate doggo than to have a cold beer in one hand and a leash in the other. This is a great opportunity for those water lovin’ pups to enjoy our splash pad for the afternoon. \nSome event highlights include “Running of the Wieners\,” so pack up those Dachshunds and bring them on down to the plaza. They’re just so fun to watch! Dress up your pup in their finest threads ‘cause there’s a costume contest. Go all out! Think you have the forearm strength of a 19th-century Bavarian farmer? Prove it! We’re having a Stein Holding Contest\, so get those arms prepped and ready for the occasion. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRULES FOR ATTENDING WITH A DOG\nIf you are attending the Dogtober Fest with a dog\, you agree to abide by these terms:\n\n\nAll dogs must be on a leash at all times. Owners are responsible for the actions of their pets. Pets must be under control at all times. \n\n\nNo aggressive animals— if participants display negative behavior\, they will be asked to leave the event. \n\n\nDog should be sociable with other animals\, adults\, and children and should not be aggressive about food\, toys\, or owner. \n\n\nDogs must be comfortable in a loud and festive environment. Please be aware of the stress level of your pet at all times. \n\n\nCourtesy is appreciated! Be prepared to clean up after your pet. Owners are expected to bring their own dog waste bags to clean up waste. \n\n\nDogs must be at least 4 months old\, as younger animals have weak or no immune systems. \n\n\nDogs must be kept on a leash at all times. \n\n\nDogs must be up to date on vaccinations and be in good health. \n\n\nNo dogs in heat.
