SUMMARY:THE BROTHERS COMATOSE w/ AJ Lee & Blue Summit
DESCRIPTION:The Brothers Comatose‘s singer-songwriter Ben Morrison share some insight into their latest polarizing single “The IPA Song\,” “We generally use our music to unify people\, but there comes a time for every band when you have to make a statement. This is our most controversial song and we realize that some of our audience will hate us for it\, but it’s time we finally say something: we can’t drink IPAs anymore!” \n“Phew\, that felt good to get off my chest.” \n“In all seriousness though\, we overdid it quite a bit\, back when we were sponsored by a great beer company and they delivered multiple cases of IPA to every tour stop of ours. It was great for a while\, but it got to the point where we had cases and cases of warm IPA in our van and that’s all we drank. Too much warm IPA will change a person\, and now we can only drink light beer. We’re more of a quantity over quality band these days\, at least when it comes to beer.” \n“This song came about because there are lots of craft beer lovers in our musical world and we would find ourselves drinking lots of high alcohol percentage beers when we’re playing shows\, and we just can’t do it anymore. We want to enjoy a few beers while we’re playing without getting too drunk\, and light beer saves us from that. Pabst Blue Ribbon\, if you’re reading this\, we’re still looking for sponsorships!” \nThe Brothers Comatose’s new single “The IPA Song” is available now  \nWhether traveling to gigs on horseback or by tour bus\, Americana mavens The Brothers Comatose forge their own path with raucous West Coast renderings of traditional bluegrass\, country and rock-n-roll music. The five-piece string band is anything but a traditional acoustic outfit with their fierce musicianship and rowdy\, rock concert-like shows. \nThe Brothers Comatose is comprised of brothers Ben Morrison (guitar\, vocals) and Alex Morrison (banjo\, vocals)\, Steve Height (bass)\, Philip Brezina (violin)\, and Greg Fleischut (mandolin\, vocals). When they’re not headlining The Fillmore for a sold-out show or appearing at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival\, the band is out on the road performing across America\, Canada\, Australia\, and hosting their very own music festival\, Comatopia\, in the Sierra foothills. \nThe San Francisco quintet are heading out for a massive U.S. tour in further support of their most recent album Ear Snacks – a heartwarming collection of collaborations from their Ear Snacks YouTube series. \n\n\n\n \n\nAJ Lee & Blue Summit\nAJ Lee & Blue Summit are an award-winning energetic\, charming\, and technically jaw-dropping band quickly rising on the national roots music scene. Based in Santa Cruz\, California\, the group met as teenagers\, picking and jamming together as kids at local music festivals and jams until one day\, they decided they would be a band. “Our roots go really deep\,” explains de facto band leader Lee. “We met when we were young kids… We definitely decided to choose each other as a chosen family band later on in life\, but in a lot of ways it was naturally just like that in the beginning.” “It was like one of those late at night things\,” she continued. “We were sitting on a trailer at Grass Valley” at the annual Father’s Day Bluegrass Festival held in the Sierra Nevada foothills – “Someone said\, ‘All of us right here\, we’re a band now.’ We kind of didn’t take it seriously\, but we were like\, okay\, we’ll be a band!” \nAnd thank goodness they became a band. Their first gigs were local\, small venues\, cafes\, restaurants\, coffee shops\, where they’d play for multiple hours honing their set list and learning shared musical vocabularies. Now\, as they criss-cross the country performing hundreds of shows a year to larger and larger audiences\, you can sense the intention they had back then – to make music together not for just aspirational reasons\, but because it’s fun – and it’s all you want to do as young musicians. Currently made up of Lee on mandolin\, fiddler Jan Purat\, and guitarists Scott Gates and Sullivan Tuttle\, the band carries that youthful\, festival-parking-lot energy with them still today\, but at the same time there’s a genuine ease and confidence to their music making. This is not the bluegrass of ambitious musicians intent on industry success\, this is music made firstly for the joy of making it and primarily made for each other. It’s part of why\, as they ready their third studio album\, City of Glass – their first label release\, out July 19th via Signature Sounds – their product feels mature and fully realized\, while deep in the Blue Summit pocket. \nCity of Glass is a slow burn album\, remarkable when considered alongside records released by their peers in recent years. Lee & Blue Summit seem unconcerned with mimicking hugely successful jamgrass bands\, or making competitive and performatively intellectual new acoustic music\, or wishing to establish themselves as the superlative string band in their bluegrass\, old-time\, and Americana communities. Instead\, they’re most interested in discovering themselves\, their own music\, and sonics and textures truly their own. So\, when they went into the studio to track City of Glass and its gorgeous twelve tracks\, they once again forsook the roads most traveled by\, looking to their local California community for collaborators that also feel right at home in their chosen family band. They brought in Lech Wierzynski\, of the California Honeydrops\, to produce; they tapped Bay Area steel guitarist Mikiya Matsuda for a couple of tracks; plus they had Californian banjo player\, instructor\, and Father’s Day Fest veteran Luke Abbott lend five-string to a number. \nThe group is proud to be Californian\, proud to represent the neo-traditionalist bluegrass and folk from the state and the mighty communities surrounding them. Their music shines with this “think global\, act local” sort of approach. On a track called\, “Can’t Find You At All\,” they even included a sort of reunion of “The Tuttles featuring AJ Lee” – the true family band from their early childhoods that also included Lee\, Sully Tuttle\, Grammy Award winner Molly Tuttle\, and their father Jack Tuttle – who wrote “Can’t Find You At All”. \n“I thought\, Sully’s on the track and Jack wrote it\,” Lee explains. “So\, I would love for Molly to sing on it\, because it does feel like a mini reunion of The Tuttles… It just feels like coming back to where technically my career started\, with them.” Throughout City of Glass\, an overarching sense emerges that this is a band who knows who they are\, what they are trying to say\, and who can help them say it. They know they don’t “need” a banjo to be a bluegrass band. They know they\, like so many bluegrass groups with mainstream appeal\, know how to make two flatpicking guitarists work in concert\, together. And\, with Wierzynski at the control room helm\, they were able to preserve that feeling of grounded self-assuredness indelibly through these songs\, while still challenging themselves outside of their comfort zones and outside of the musical box. Focusing on these qualities and bringing in creatives they trusted\, they were able to craft an album that sounds exactly like AJ Lee & Blue Summit while still breaking endless new ground. “Having a powerhouse vocalist and someone we trusted in the control room was really valuable and really fun\,” Jan Purat says. “I think it removed a lot of the headiness and back and forth… It felt like it was streamlined\, in certain ways\, being able to trust his judgment\, even though he was from a different genre.” Wierzynski also brought songs to the band\, a stunning cover of the soul classic “He Called Me Baby” and a song he wrote\, “Bedside Window\,” which is rendered by the band as an archetypical bluegrass “fast waltz.” Wierzynski prioritized making the band sound exactly like themselves\, producing the vocals to be and sound live whenever possible\, moving the band along when a take checked all the boxes\, and still bringing in genre and aesthetic inspirations that feel brand new. City of Glass\, as a result\, is an album that’s just as much country soul and gritty\, bluesy Americana as it is bluegrass\, all framed through a California folk lens while clearly primed for a much wider audience. The title track is a beautiful and evocative metaphor that conjures the climate crisis and holds an inspiring degree of self-awareness\, from this group of young folks. As they sing of a wonderful monument to human kind’s achievements\, an awesome and temporal city made of glass\, grain by grain\, shard by shard\, they put the fleeting and intangible qualities of a life as professional musicians under the same lens\, once again reinforcing that their priorities in music cannot simply be achievements and success. After all\, they know that\, someday\, all of this will fade away. As such\, as much as possible\, they have their eyes trained first and foremost on the present moment. \n“I’ve learned through songwriting and creating music that you shouldn’t hold anything as precious as you think you should\,” Lee says\, speaking about writing “City of Glass.” “We’re all happy to experience life with each other and to see what this band turns into\, but there’s no expectation that this monument we’ve built will stand forever.” \nPerhaps this is why it feels like\, whether on stage or in the studio\, Blue Summit pours all of themselves into every song\, every lyric\, and every note. “I think it would lose meaning if it did last forever\,” Gates agrees. “For so long making music for a living was ‘ride or die\,’ but now we’re very much in the moment and we understand that nothing lasts forever. All I care about is just the next step and not skipping any steps in between.” \nThe slow burn of City of Glass certainly reaches its tenor\, but never in a performative\, belabored\, or corny way. There are many moments of tension and release\, of musical climaxes that are tender and subdued or silly and winking – and yes\, absolutely barn burning\, too. “Seaside\,” written by Sully Tuttle\, feels pulled directly from a Steinbeck paean to coastal California. “Bakersfield Clay\,” penned by Gates\, could have been divinely implanted in his head from Haggard or Owens or any number of lonesome troubadours longing for their southern California home while also longing to leave it behind. “I Still Think of Her” is one of the album’s jewels\, a delicious and pining love song with a queer throughline that wrinkles its common\, countryfied format in a truly one-of-a-kind way. Like “Can’t Find You At All\,” the band finds power here with a less is more approach\, building energy without necessarily raising the volume or tempo. Each song demands your full attention\, builds intentionally to the next\, and gently guides their listeners through exciting and heartfelt twists and turns\, musically\, lyrically\, and melodically. AJ Lee & Blue Summit’s City of Glass is statuesque\, while living and breathing. It’s a monument not to ego and virtuosity and self-absorption\, but to what beauty can exist when a handful of musicians who know each other so deeply and care for each other so innately choose each other\, show after show\, day after day\, song after song. AJ Lee & Blue Summit are an exemplary band so unconcerned with being remembered\, with being enshrined\, that they have gone about making a set of songs that will surely be held onto and cherished forever. City of Glass may one day crumble\, but this music will never fade away.

SUMMARY:Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox - The '10' Tour
DESCRIPTION:The work of Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox has been viewed on the ensemble’s YouTube channel well over a hundred million times. Most of those doing the viewing\, however\, are not fully aware of the method to Bradlee’s madness. On the surface\, the method is video – clips of full-band performances (that’s Bradlee on piano) shot in the bandleader’s living room with a single stationary camera. The madness: pop hits of the present performed à la pop hits of the past. Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” assayed as a doo-wop number; Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop” tricked out in flapper jazz; Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” rendered a 1940s big-band standard. In fact\, Bradlee’s method runs deeper. He’s educating his audience about 20th-century song styles; he’s commenting on the elasticity of the pop form; he’s confounding cultural context; he’s uniting generations; he’s breaking the rules. He’s manifesting postmodernist ideas in his approach to production and business as well as music. But as far as the fans are concerned\, it’s just fun (and sometimes funny). Bradlee himself will tell you\, simply\, “I reimagine a song in another style because I want to hear it that way.” Discovering talent and knowing what to do with it is fundamental to the business of music. Bradlee is something of a postmodernist here\, too\, having achieved renown doing everything himself\, mostly online\, “with no budget” (i.e. using the recording equipment he’d had since college). His adherence to the DIY ethos also suggests the decidedly postmodern form of punk rock. “I was a struggling jazz pianist sitting in my basement apartment in Queens\,” he attests\, “but I just figured it out and made it happen.” That said\, punk rock is likely not top of mind for those attending a Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox show. The scene is more reminiscent of a speakeasy\, with swells in vintage threads swilling Prohibition-era cocktails. “It’s a variety show\, a musical revue featuring special guests\,” Bradlee illuminates. “Coming to a PMJ show is like time-traveling back to Old Hollywood – it’s an experience.” Creating that for audiences appears to be PMJ’s ultimate mission.

SUMMARY:Wild Child + Susto\, Judy Blank
DESCRIPTION:Info\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWild Child\nIndie Pop \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nSusto\nAlternative Country \n\n\n\n\n\nOsborne is home in Charleston\, South Carolina\, reflecting on the personal journey and cultural climate that have led to Ever Since I Lost My Mind\, the third record and label debut for his acclaimed project SUSTO. The album is a resounding triumph: a mix of new partnerships and collaborations with old friends\, all anchored by Osborne’s perceptive songs that explore connection\, loss\, and transience––and the pain and joy each brings.“Ever Since I Lost My Mind is very personal. This collection of songs came together over the course of a couple of years\, and they all represent different moments\,” he says. “It felt cathartic writing all of them\, and they were also all fun in different ways.” \nWith a rock-rooted sound that doesn’t shy away from radio-ready hooks\, SUSTO keeps listeners engaged by refusing to occupy an easily defined space. Produced by Ian Fitchuck (Kacey Musgraves\, Ruston Kelly) and featuring key input from Osborne’s longtime creative sounding board Wolfgang Zimmerman\, Ever Since I Lost My Mind defiantly experiments with synth embellishments\, Latin heart\, guileless folk\, and more. Osborne’s mellow vocals comfort without losing the ability to surprise––delicate croons\, growls\, and occasional screams take turns. \nWhen Osborne moved to Havana as part of a study abroad opportunity\, he thought he was abandoning music for anthropology. But the Cuban musicians and artists he befriended had other ideas. They were among the first to see that SUSTO––and the music that would ultimately fuel it––captured him too well to remain an afterthought. Re-energized\, he  returned to the States half a year later and recorded SUSTO’s first album. Just after the release of the band’s self-titled debut album\, Osborne faced a clear choice. “It was a weird moment. I just had to finally quit keeping one foot out of music and dive in. So\, I got knuckle tattoos and haven’t stopped trying to make this work since then\,” he says with a laugh. SUSTO’s acclaimed sophomore album & I’m Fine Today made it even more clear that music and Osborne were meant to be. \nIn Latin American cultures\, the word susto describes an intense fear understood as a condition of the soul––an ongoing\, spiritual panic attack. All of the letters of susto also appear in Osborne’s full name. “SUSTO was this combination of phonetics and meaning––it felt like me\, like a name for myself\,” he says. “I chose the name SUSTO for the project because the meaning behind the word––that deep fright––was something I was experiencing\, and songwriting felt like it was helping me cure it by helping me to process what was happening. SUMMARY:Rainbow Kitten Surprise
DESCRIPTION:As if channeling another dimension where genres simply don’t exist\, Rainbow Kitten Surprise finds harmony in unpredictability—weaving together lyrical poetry\, hummable melodies\, and a rush of instrumental eccentricities. Preceded by tracks “LOL” and “Superstar\,” the North Carolina-bred quartet’s forthcoming album LOVE HATE MUSIC BOX—the creative vision of singer/songwriter Ela Melo\, guitarists Bozzy Keller and Ethan Goodpaster\, and drummer Jess Haney as well as former bassist Charlie Holt—represents a brand-new awakening. After years of struggling with her own mental health that resulted in writer’s block\, on-stage episodes\, and tour cancellations\, Melo was properly diagnosed and treated in 2023\, vastly improving her quality of life. Suddenly struck by creative intervention\, songs once again poured out of her\, writing at least one a day for an entire year and forming the backbone of their 22-track opus. Produced by Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves) along with Konrad Snyder (Noah Kahan) and Melo\, the album ponders life’s ups and downs\, and traces the turbulent trajectory of relationships\, painted out loud in hues of pop\, electronic\, rock\, and hip-hop.

SUMMARY:TYLOR & THE TRAIN ROBBERS - live album recording - night 1
DESCRIPTION:For the past decade\, Tylor & the Train Robbers have been blazing trails\, carving a path through the heartland with their roots country and Americana music. With boots worn thin from relentless touring\, they’ve crisscrossed the country\, honing their craft and delivering electrifying performances\, leaving a trail of devoted fans in their wake. \nBrothers Tylor Ketchum\, Jason Bushman\, and Tommy Bushman form the core of this musical powerhouse. Tylor\, the eldest\, takes the reins as the band’s frontman\, rhythm guitarist\, and songwriter\, weaving stories through his lyrics. \n\n“Ketchum has a voice laced with the same western gravelly baritones that tend to stand out as “Western” but his approach is decidedly more rock than country\, and his delivery still touches on poetic.” – Josh Crutchmer \n\nJason\, on bass and backup harmonies\, and Tommy\, on drums and vocals\, provide the steady heartbeat and backbone that defines the band’s signature sound. Completing the quartet is Rider Soran\, whose Lead Guitar\, Pedal Steel\, and Lap Steel chops add layers of depth and emotion to their music. \n\n“Perhaps no band combines what Western roots music has always been and what it will become quite like the Train Robbers. It is this combination of tradition and fresh take that makes them a must-listen.” – Josh Crutchmer \n\nNow\, as the band gears up for their latest release\, Hum of the Road\, the excitement among their devoted fanbase is palpable. Recorded amidst the dust and heat of a Southern tour\, this album is more than just a collection of songs—it’s a sonic odyssey that captures the essence of the open road and the soul of the American musical landscape. \nHum of the Road was born in Yellow Dog Studios in Wimberley\, TX\, under the expert guidance of producer Cody Braun from Reckless Kelly and engineer Adam Odor. Mixed in Austin\, TX\, by the talented Jonathan Tyler\, the album flawlessly channels the raw energy and authentic vibes of the band. The result is ten tracks that traverse musical terrains\, from rock and roll anthems to country swing\, psychedelic explorations\, heartfelt folk ballads\, and classic county tunes. \nWith each song\, Hum of the Road invites listeners on a musical adventure\, echoing the band’s own journey down highways and backroads. It’s an album that captures the essence of a bygone era while remaining firmly rooted in the present\, a testament to the band’s timeless appeal and genre-defying approach. \n\n\n\n \n\nBuddy Devore & the Faded Cowboys\nBorn in Othello\, Washington and raised in Southwest Idaho\, Buddy DeVore grew up surrounded by ranchers\, cowboys and Country Music. He started playing mandolin and singing at the age of 8\, and got his first guitar at 14. He started learning songs by singing along with records and the radio\, and has developed a huge repertoire of somewhere between 3 and 4 hundred songs. He now makes his home in New Plymouth\, Idaho\, where he and his wife Samantha are raising their three sons\, Porter\, Samuel and Roland.\nAfter spending 17 years as a professional cowboy throughout the western states\, Buddy began to focus more seriously on his music about 15 years ago\, and began playing professionally. In 2017\, he brought together several other talented musicians from Southwest Idaho to form Buddy DeVore and the Faded Cowboys. With their energetic brand of Western Honky Tonk music\, the band plays extensively at venues and festivals throughout the Mountain Northwest. The Faded Cowboys consist of Buddy DeVore – lead vocal and guitar\, Bernie Reilly – upright bass\, guitar and vocals\, Louis McFarland – drums\, Rob Matson – guitar and vocals\, and Sam Rothwell – steel guitar. Their shows feature the best of classic traditional Country Music\, as well as original material written by Buddy. The band released their first album\, “Beautiful Day” in November\, 2019\, and just released their 2nd studio album “To Save A Miserable Hide” in September 2024.

SUMMARY:Machine Girl
DESCRIPTION:The Machine Girl project infiltrates every type of freak; ravers\, punks\, noisers\, footworkists\, metal fans\, gamers\, h/c kids\, goth/industrialists and everything in between. Infamous for their cathartic\, unpredictable performances and genre-agnostic catalog\, the project’s vitriolic\, organic following has developed through a sense of sonic maximalism and anime/B-horror visual flair. Machine Girl lore juxtaposes whether the picture painted is that of reality\, a fantastical escape\, or a jarring future. \n\n\n\n \n\nLightning Bolt\nBridging the worlds of technical playing and noise chaos with a color and imagination unlike any other band\, Providence\, Rhode Island duo Lightning Bolt began their hypnotic pummeling in the mid-’90s and grew to become one of the most powerful and unique entities in the indie scene. Barely recognizable bass tones and unrelenting drums played in telekinetic lockstep defined the band’s sound on albums like their 2003 high-water mark Wonderful Rainbow. \nLightning Bolt first took shape in 1995 as a three-piece art school project. Initially\, Brian Chippendale‘s explosive\, nonstop drumming\, Brian Gibson’s Contortions-like basslines\, and Hisham Baroocha’s vocals propelled them into a fury of volatile noise and orgiastic tribalism. The group helped found Fort Thunder\, a music and art collective\, and recorded a self-titled album that was issued through Load in 1999. By 2001’s Ride the Skies\, Baroocha had departed (he eventually formed Black Dice). This left the vocal duties to Chippendale\, who jammed the microphone into his mouth as he drummed. Lightning Bolt played a series of tours with bands like the Locust\, Arab on Radar\, Orchid\, and Melt Banana\, some of which were the focus of band documentary The Power of Salad\, a 2003 film directed by Peter Glantz and Nick Noe. \nTheir next studio album\, Wonderful Rainbow\, embraced a more demented approach to traditional rock forms. The record did very well in underground music circles and set up the release of 2005’s Hypermagic Mountain. Lightning Bolt toured frequently\, but didn’t return to the studio until 2009’s Earthly Delights\, which was followed in 2012 by mini-album Oblivion Hunter\, comprised mainly of archival recordings unearthed and cleaned up for release. Though they were still touring sporadically\, both Gibson and Chippendale were busy with various other projects\, ranging from Gibson’s involvement with doom metal band Megasus to Chippendale‘s growing art career and prolific solo project Black Pus. \nLightning Bolt returned in 2015 with sixth album Fantasy Empire\, their first new material in over five years and their first music recorded in a fully functional\, high-end recording studio. After a similarly lengthy four-year break\, the duo released their seventh LP\, Sonic Citadel\, in October 2019. ~ Daphne Carr\, Rovi \n\n\n \n\nKill Alters\nThe dense compositions of NYC-based trio Kill Alters crash into you as a glorious mess of hyperactive vocal lines\, pulsing electronic textures\, and interwoven percussion patterns. Primary composer and producer Bonnie Baxter leads the band with her impassioned vocal performances\, pummeling drum machine beats\, and peals of chaotic synthesis. In addition to Kill Alters\, Baxter has released solo albums and is 1/2 of the duo Prolaps alongside Machine Girls’ Matthew Stephenson. In Kill Alters\, Nicos Kennedy serves as the project’s co-producer/mixer\, sound engineer\, and synthesist\, both shaping their sound in the context of performance and rendering their final recorded output in all its overloaded detail. Hisham Bharoocha (formerly of seminal US underground projects Lightning Bolt and Black Dice\, and a solo artist under the Soft Circle moniker) provides his signature battering ram drum performances\, which collide with electronic percussion elements to animate the band’s ballistic compositions both on record and in the context of their live shows. \nBaxter and Kennedy started the Kill Alters project as an outlet to recontextualize the audio from an archive of home-recorded tapes made by Baxter’s mother\, which date from the 1970s through the 1990s. The care and the vulnerability with which Kill Alters infuses their music with these archival recordings recasts the trauma and confusion documented within them as a source from which to draw power and achieve a new sense of clarity.

SUMMARY:Sixpence None the Richer
DESCRIPTION:Sixpence None the Richer began taking shape in New Braunfels\, Texas in the early ‘90s\, when guitarist Matt Slocum met vocalist Leigh Nash at a church retreat. The group recorded a demo before eventually signing with R.E.X. Records. Their debut LP\, The Fatherless & the Widow\, appeared in 1993 and their sophomore effort\, 1995’s This Beautiful Mess won a Dove Award and was followed by the Tickets for a Prayer Wheel EP. \nIn 1997\, Sixpence None the Richer released their self-titled album and two years later exploded globally when the track “Kiss Me”\, from that album\, was released as a single. The song has been featured in countless movies and TV shows and catapulted Sixpence None the Richer’s starpower into the mainstream\, earning airplay in more than ten different countries. \nAccolades continued as the band’s rendition of the La’s “There She Goes” also became a major hit. In fall 2002\, Sixpence None the Richer returned to form with Divine Discontent. The band’s cover of the Crowded House classic “Don’t Dream It’s Over” pushed Sixpence None the Richer’s name back into the charts in early 2003. Although the group quietly disbanded in 2004\, they remained active as individuals and continued to release music periodically\, including the albums Dawn of Grace and Lost in Transition. \nFast forward to 2024 and all-original members (Leigh Nash\, Matt Slocum\, Dale Baker\, and Justin Cary) have reunited and are writing and recording new music and preparing for a world tour. As a taste of the new music\, you can hear “The Tide” released in late 2023 as Leigh Nash + Sixpence None The Richer\, which has already amassed over 2 Million views and streams across platforms. Curb Records is also celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the band’s self-titled (Kiss Me) album by re-releasing it in a collectible vinyl series that also features the new track\, “The Tide”. \nSixpence None The Richer has helped shape the musical landscape across generations and are gearing up for an exciting road ahead. \n\n\n\n \n\nMcKenna Esteb\nMcKenna grew up in Snoqualmie WA\, where her love for music began\, performing in talent shows\, at coffee shops and restaurant around the greater Seattle area. Throughout her career she has called both Austin\, TX and Boise\, ID (where she currently resides) home. \nHer vocal style is heavily influenced by the likes of Aretha Franklin\, Etta James and Amy Winehouse. The roots of her music have soul and funk influences mixed into a nice cocktail of pop/modern rock. With songs ranging from “cry in the bathtub w/ a pint of Ben & Jerry’s” to “10 lb’s of sass in a 5 lb bag” she is guaranteed to keep her music vulnerable\, fun & keep you on your toes.

SUMMARY:Gregorian - Pure Chants World Tour
DESCRIPTION:For almost 25 years\, GREGORIAN have thrilled millions of people worldwide with their choreographed shows and their ability to switch seamlessly from classical chorales to pop and rock songs. Their concerts have set new standards. With over 2\,000 shows in 35 countries and more than 10 million albums sold\, GREGORIAN are the most successful choir in the world. In November and December 2024\, GREGORIAN will continue with their PURE CHANTS World Tour in Canada and in the USA. Frank Peterson\, the creator and producer of GREGORIAN says: “Our Pure Chants concerts bring the most popular GREGORIAN classics in an atmospheric and tranquil sound environment. Pure Chants concerts are extremely peaceful\, yet spectacular and unite the audience with the most beautiful melodies in the world.” The idea for GREGORIAN was born when Frank Peterson visited the royal monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial in Spain in 1989. Wandering through the medieval monastery and castle complex and listening to contemporary music on his Walkman\, he found the inspiration for the sound experiment of mixing ancient Gregorian music with modern music. Peterson first realized his idea with Michael Cretu and the worldwide sound phenomenon “Enigma”. Their first album “MCMXC a.D.” was released in 1990 and quickly became a worldwide success. “MCMXC a.D.” was number 1 in 41 different countries and went 57 times platinum and 45 times gold. It is considered as the most successful German album of all time worldwide. \nThis gigantic success paved the way for GREGORIAN to take the musical idea one step further and to establish it as an independent music act. In 1999\, with the start of production on the first album “Masters Of Chant”\, Frank Peterson seamlessly built on the success of “Enigma”. In the following years\, GREGORIAN has sold over 10 million CDs and 7 DVDs worldwide and achieved gold and platinum status in 24 different countries. At the end of 2024 and thus in time for their Anniversary World Tourin 2025\, Frank Peterson will release a new GREGORIAN album. The album will include new songs as well as re-recordings of some wellknown GREGORIAN classics. Frank Peterson has been involved in various musical projects and international productions for over 30 years. He has worked as a producer with Sarah Brightman\, Enigma\, Justin Timberlake\, Andrea Bocelli\, Paul Stanley (Kiss)\, Backstreet Boys\, Alannah Myles\, José Carreras\, Tom Jones\, Plácido Domingo\, Errol Brown\, Ofra Haza\, Sandra\, Josh Groban\, Marky Mark\, I Muvrini\, Florent Pagny and Ricardo Cocciante\, among others. In addition to GREGORIAN\, Peterson has also been working as a show producer for Sarah Brightman and other top stars since 2005. Together with the world star\, he produced the album and cinema production “Sarah Brightman – Hymn”\, which was acclaimed by critics worldwide.

SUMMARY:90’s Country Christmas
DESCRIPTION:90’s Country Christmas\n\nJohnny Rogers is returning for his 90’s Country Christmas.  Considered to be the best years for country music. Johnny will sing artists like George Strait\, Alan Jackson\, Johnny Cash\, Tim Mc Graw and Brad Paisley \nFeaturing the Rocking Horse Medicine Show Band \nTier 1 tickets come with a meet & greet \nAbout Johnny Rogers\nJohnny Rogers was born in Jackson\, Tennessee to parents who were born in the southern states of Kentucky and Tennessee. His father was a radio personality in the late 40’s and early 50’s\, who crossed paths with some of the biggest legends of music history: Elvis\, Johnny Cash\, Hank Williams Sr.\, George Jones\, Lefty Frizzell\, Marty Robbins and Conway Twitty\, to mention a few. When he was very young his father gave him his first guitar. He had no interest in playing\, until he heard Buddy Holly for the first time.  The song was Rave On. \nHe said it was like someone or something turned a switch on inside of him. From that moment on he knew what he wanted to be in life and that was someone like Buddy. His father showed him a few basic chords. That was all he needed to get started playing. \nWhile Johnny was in high school\, he tried starting his own band\, but finding kids his own age with the same taste in music seemed to be impossible. So\, he began to look for older guys that grew up listening to the music. He started sneaking into the honky tonks with his father’s help and a fake ID. But he wasn’t there to drink he was there to learn about becoming an entertainer.  \nJohnny’s father was very good friends with a Chicago honky tonk legend by the name of Jimmy Nichols. Johnny’s father had given Jimmy his start in the late 50’s and now Jimmy would return the favor. Johnny started playing lead guitar for Jimmy Nichols at the age of 15. He was self taught and learned all styles of music. Johnny made his debut on stage at the Off Broadway Lounge. Immediately he was a big draw. People would come from miles around to see the kid with horn rim glasses and lightning guitar licks. Johnny continued playing guitar for the Chicago legend until he was 21 and it was time to start his own band and his own show.
