DESCRIPTION:9/11 Miles of Remembrance\nfamily-friendly 5K in Downtown Boise\nEvery year Mission43 conducts the 9/11 Miles of Remembrance 5K on September 11th to honor and remember those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11th\, 2001. This date also signifies the beginning of the Global War on Terror (GWOT) which many of our current and former military members supported. \nIn 2024\, we invite you to join us on the Boise River Greenbelt for a family-friendly event that is open to the entire community for people of all abilities to participate. Feel free to run\, walk\, ruck\, or handcycle the 5K route along the beautiful Boise River and join us in the social area at the start/finish line to include food and drinks\, music\, guest speakers\, and fun for all. \nREGISTER EARLY! You will be guaranteed your event t-shirt\, which will be mailed to you before the event.
