His 12th novel\, The Overstory\, won the Pulitzer Prize\, was a finalist for the Man Booker\, and received widespread praise by the likes of Barbara Kingsolver and President Obama. A former recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship\, his 2006 book\, The Echo Maker\, won the 2006 National Book Award for Fiction. He lives in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Soured by the experience\, and just on the verge of giving up rap entirely\, Rittz was recruited by Yelawolf to guest on “Box Chevy” from the 2010 album Trunk Musik 0-60. More collaborations followed\, and so did two mixtapes\, 2011’s White Jesus and 2012’s White Jesus: Revival. Strange Music signed the rapper late that year\, and released Rittz’s studio debut\, The Life and Times of Jonny Valiant\, in 2013. \n  \n\n\nSocial Links\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDoc Backer\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nZERO\n\n \n\nBorn in 1986 in San Bernardino\, California\, Cornell Johnson aka ZERO is a hip hop artist based out of Boise\, Idaho. Influenced by artists such as Talib Kweli\, Mos Def\, Common and many other conscious artists\, ZERO takes his artistry into a new dimension. Capturing fans with real life stories told in his music which resonate with a refreshingly real honesty. \nOver the last few years\, ZERO has shared the stage with notable artists such as Hopsin\, Dizzy Wright\, T. Mills\, Myke Bogan\, Illmaculate\, Gonzoe\, Murs\, Krizz Kaliko as well as multiple appearances supporting Tech N9ne. \nIn early 2016\, ZERO released his first self-titled album including his critically acclaimed hit\, “Suicide Letter” featuring Axiom ThaWyze & Natalie Grace. Enjoy a spacious dance floor\, perfect for swaying to iconic hits like “Hotel California\,” “Take It Easy\,” and “Desperado.” \nDark Desert Highway was born when brothers Steve and Kevin Celi assembled a group of talented musicians\, including Steve’s son\, to celebrate Steve’s 50th birthday. Their goal was to honor their all-time favorite band\, the Eagles\, while showcasing their own vocal talents and intricate harmonies. What began as a one-night tribute quickly turned into something more\, and the group decided to continue performing together. After exploring many name ideas\, they landed on “Dark Desert Highway\,” inspired by the iconic opening lyrics of one of the Eagles’ most famous songs.
