DESCRIPTION:Each year the Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation (BBSEF) looks forward to hosting the annual Ski Swap\, presented by Saint Alphonsus. BBSEF volunteers enjoy helping outfit winter sports enthusiasts for the season ahead. \nIn addition to kicking off the ski season\, this community event is a major fundraiser for the Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation. BBSEF’s mission is to provide access to competitive mountain sports programs for the youth of the Treasure Valley. \n1\,700+ volunteer hours go into this 4-day event. Most Ski Swap volunteers are current and past BBSEF families. Plus appearances by the Thrill the World dance group\, The Delphi Oracles\, Big River Paranormal\, and so much more!\nRegistration for Idaho State Historical Society Members begins Tuesday\, August 27 at 10:00 am. Interested in becoming a member? Visit history.idaho.gov/membership for more info!\nAdmission is $30 per person. Ages 18+ only (ID required at the door).\nDates and Times:Friday\, October 25: 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm (last admission 9:30 pm).Saturday\, October 26: 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm (last admission 9:30 pm).\nIMPORTANT NOTES:Tours of the historic prison cemetery will be available throughout the night as an add-on to your admission.\nPlease print or save your receipt confirmation for use as your event admission ticket. DESCRIPTION:Halloween is coming! You Better Run!  Join us for the 2024 YMCA Halloween Run Presented By Micron \nTrick out your costume and treat yourself to a ghoulish run! Choose from either the Monster Mile or Freaky 5k course and run (for your life)! Have fun\, be creative\, and win prizes for best costume! (Family Friendly is a Must!) \nJoin us on the Ann Morrison Park for the Monster Mile and Freaky Fast 5K \nEveryone participating in the YMCA Halloween Run receives a Sweatshirt and a Medal! \nPacket Pick-Up: \nPackets will be available on Friday\, October 25th from 4pm-7pm. Location TBD \nDay of Packet Pickup will be at the Start Area from 7am-9:30am \nWe highly recommend picking up on Friday! \nStart Times:  \nNew earlier Start Times!! \nFreaky Fast 5K – 10:00 am \nMonster Mile – 10:15  am \nStay Late for the Micron Trunk or Treat! Starting at 11:00 am near the starting area.  \nLocation & Parking:\n \nThe event will be held at Ann Morison Park. The Freaky 5K and Monster Mile will take place on the Greenbelt. The start and finish line will be at the Ann Morrison old timers pavilion near 9th street and Royal Boulevard. \nHoliday Food Drive: October is Hunger Awareness Month\nMicron and the YMCA will be hosting a Holiday Canned Food Drive for The Idaho Foodbank with your help. Hunger exists in every county of Idaho and the United States.\nBring a few items to kick off this Food Drive\, every item helps!  Donation bins will be available at the run start area. Learn what items are needed. \n  \nThe Y is for All!
