This beloved one-mile run is open to children 15 under. \nOur course begins in front of the State Capitol\, with participants racing down Jefferson\, up Bannock and back to Cecil D. Andrus Park. \nThe event promotes health and well-being among the community’s youth\, with every participant receiving a commemorative medal and a stylish T-shirt. \nHosted by  Saint Alphonsus and the Treasure Valley Family YMCA\, the Capitol Classic Kids Run is a cherished tradition that fosters a sense of community and encourages a healthy lifestyle. \n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nWhen and Where \nSaturday\, May 30th\, 2026 \nStart Times \nAdaptive Race – 11:00am \n1 Mile Race – 11:00am \n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nPacket Pick-Up \nPacket Pick Up: Friday\, May 29th from 3-7pm at Bandanna Running & Walking (504 W Main St\, Boise ID 83702) \nNow Offering: Race Day Packet Pick Up: Saturday\, May 30th at the Start Area from 8:00am – 10:30am \nWe highly recommend early packet pick-up to avoid the lines on race day \n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nParking \nParking is limited in the area. Register as an individual\, join a team or create your own team!  After registration\, you’ll be able to create your own personal fundraising page and/or team page.
