His journey has also taken him on countless extensive tours across the United States and abroad. \nBorn and raised between the musical landscapes of Louisiana and the Pacific Northwest\, Gill began honing his craft as a busker between New Orleans\, the West Coast\, and Europe. In 2004\, he joined Old Crow Medicine Show\, who he worked with from their van-and-trailer days at dive bars and dance halls to the main stages of festivals\, Grammy triumphs\, and induction into the Grand Ole Opry. In 2015\, Gill decided to part ways with the band\, dedicating himself entirely to his solo creative pursuits. \nThough under the Americana umbrella\, each of Gill Landry’s solo albums is a testament to his versatility and his ability to craft music that defies easy categorization. While his musical styles may range widely from song to song and album to album\, his writing consistently reflects a profound\, honest\, and often poetic exploration of the vicissitudes and joys of love and life. His debut solo album\, ‘The Ballad of Lawless Soirez\,’ was released in 2007 during his tenure with Old Crow on Nettwerk Records. In 2011\, ‘Piety & Desire’ followed\, produced in collaboration with The Felice Brothers and featuring guest artists such as Brandi Carlile and Jolie Holland. His eponymous third album\, released in early 2015 on ATO Records\, and featured a duet with Laura Marling and a rich tapestry of talented collaborators. In 2017\, ‘Love Rides A Dark Horse’ was released the ATO and Loose labels. Gill’s most recent record\, ‘Skeleton At The Banquet\,’ was recorded in Los Angeles with producer/bassist Seth Ford-Young (known for his work with Tom Waits and Edward Sharpe)\, and was released just weeks before the onset of the pandemic. \nA seasoned road dog\, Gill has shared stages with an eclectic array of artists\, including Laura Marling\, Justin Townes Earle\, Brandi Carlile\, Michael Hurley\, Ben Harper\, Mumford & Sons\, Bruce Hornsby\, Warren Haynes\, Andre Williams\, and Nathaniel Rateliff\, among others. In 2012\, he played a pivotal role in the creation of the film ‘Austin to Boston\,’ not only co-writing and narrating it but also performing and navigating every mile of the journey in a 1970s Volkswagen Bay Window. The documentary chronicled a 3000-mile tour from SXSW to Boston\, featuring the musical talents of Nathaniel Rateliff\, Ben Howard\, Bears Den\, and The Staves. Additionally\, he’s in the Grammy-winning film ‘The Big Easy Express\,’ which documented a train tour from San Francisco to New Orleans with Old Crow\, Mumford and Sons\, and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. \nPresently\, Gill lives on a ranch in the Sierra Nevada Foothills of California\, communing with nature and finishing up his next album ‘Cinnamon Canyon Blues’ which was produced in London with his friend Ted Dwane from Mumford and Sons and will be released in early 2024.

DESCRIPTION:A lifetime of work has gone into getting Micky and The Motorcars to the forefront of Americana Music\, which is where they currently stand. Micky and Gary Braun have been playing music their entire lives and come from a family of people that have always done the same thing. The boys’ paternal grandparents were both full-time musicians\, and their earliest memories are of watching their father play with his brothers in The Braun Brother’s Band. Later\, with four boys of his own\, their father Muzzie Braun\, formed a family Western Swing Band. The family toured the United States\, making two appearances on The Tonight Show as well as taking the stage at The Grand Ol’ Opry. This laid the ground work for what was to come. After nine years\, Micky and Gary went on to form Micky and The Motorcars while their brothers founded Reckless Kelly. Since music and family go hand in hand\, it is with this family spirit in mind that the boys continue on their path. \nFor thirteen years\, the Motorcars have been touring the US\, Europe\, and Canada releasing five studio recordings as well as taking part in the Live at Billy Bob’s Series in which they released a live CD/DVD in 2009. They have charted several Top Ten singles on the Texas Music Chart\, and had records that have spent an unprecedented seven months on the Americana Chart. Great music along with a tireless work ethic have been the two ingredients that have remained consistent since the band’s conception. The band averages over 200 shows per year and has built a dedicated following of people who appreciate great songwriting\, great singing and excellent musicianship. \nThe music of the band centers around the songwriting of Micky Braun. As a songwriter who has spent years crafting songs alone and co-writing with other songwriting greats\, Micky has emerged as one of the best writers of his generation. He also has a voice that is able to elevate his words to another level\, and the raw emotion in his delivery connects to audience members at their very core. Micky’s songs and singing are also blessed by his brother Gary’s undeniable vocal ability and guitar playing. Gary’s voice combines with Micky’s to create the unmistakable harmony that can only happen when two brothers sing together. \nThe brothers are joined by Victoria\, Texas native Dustin Schaefer on lead guitar. Dustin joined the band in 2011. Having started out listening to\, and playing along with the greats of Rock ‘n’ Roll\, Dustin soon immersed himself in the style of the telecaster country greats. The marriage of these two styles melds perfectly with the music of The Motorcars. The energy and dedication to his craft that Dustin brings to the band is evident in music and onstage. Houston native Joe Fladger signed on as the band’s bassist in December of 2011. Joe moved to Austin in 2001 and spent years playing in various bands in Austin’s fertile music scene. His sense of humor\, rock solid playing\, and dedication to the greater good of the team make him a welcome addition to the fold. The most recent addition is drummer Bobby Paugh\, from Aransas Pass\, TX in January of 2013 rounds out the band to where it is today. He brings great dynamics and professional demeanor to the table. \nPlayers play\, so the future of Micky and The Motorcars will hold countless songs\, shows\, and a dedication to their fans that is unparalleled. As their legion of followers grow and word continues to spread\, the journey of the band will continue to play out in a way that combines a dedication to music with a dedication to family.

DESCRIPTION:Friday\, January 5th  –  12pm- 9pm | Saturday\, January 6th  –  9am -5pm\n$15 admission; $10 for students w/ID & Kids 13 and under are free.\nAda County ordinance prohibits all dogs and comfort animals\, except properly identified service animals on Expo Idaho premises. \nWe are passionate about fly fishing!\nFor 19 years\, Boise Valley Fly Fishers has proudly presented this two-day event. Over 2500 fly fishers from throughout the western region of the United States attend. Proceeds are used to support fly fishing education and conservation programs throughout Idaho and Eastern Oregon.
