Fireworks are scheduled to fill the sky starting around 10:15 p.m. (dusk) on the 4th of July\, but festivities in Ann Morrison Park begin at 6 p.m. \nFood and drink vendors will be on site with concessions available for purchase throughout the evening. This year’s food trucks feature a variety of fresh fusion foods\, sweet treats and summertime classics. Visitors will need to walk or bike to access the dog park.\n\nCrescent Rim\n\nThere will be no parking allowed on Crescent Rim from sunrise to 11 p.m. on Friday\, July 4.\nThe Boise Police Department will be closing Crescent Rim to through traffic starting at 6 p.m. on Friday\, July 4.\nResidents who live within the Crescent Rim closure area will be allowed access until 9 p.m. The Boise Police Department will then close road completely for the duration of the fireworks show.\n\nStreet closures will be implemented at these two intersections: \n\nCrescent Rim & Latah\nCrescent Rim & Eastover Terrace\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFood & Drink Vendors\nFood and drink vendors will open at 6 p.m. with concessions available throughout the evening. Please make plans to carpool and park at Barber Park (limited parking for a fee\, get there early) and take the shuttle back after your float. Shuttles from Ann Morrison Park to Barber Park will run from noon to 5:30 p.m. There is no parking in Ann Morrison Park all day on Friday\, July 4. \nFind more information about floating the river on the official Float the Boise website\, www.FloatTheBoise.org. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter the Fireworks\nAt the conclusion of the fireworks\, Americana Blvd. will be closed for approximately 45 minutes to allow pedestrians to exit the park. Officers will assist pedestrians exiting the park and will also be staffing closures at Americana/Shoreline and Americana/Emerald/Latah. Officers will also be in the area of Capitol/University to assist pedestrians crossing Capitol Blvd. \nTraffic may be heavily congested as you leave Ann Morrison Park. Please be courteous and careful as you exit.

DESCRIPTION:The Meridian Parks and Recreation Department’s mission is to enhance the community’s quality of life by providing innovatively designed parks\, connected pathways\, and diverse recreational opportunities for all citizens. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeridian Independence Day Festival \n\nMeridian City is looking forward to a grand fireworks display in Storey Park to celebrate Independence Day!  The park will be open to families for picnics and fireworks viewing.   Food trucks will be onsite at 4:00 pm for snacks and tasty local cuisine. \nThanks to Meridian Speedway for partnering with the City of Meridian once again to bring this celebration to the people of Meridian.    The fireworks display will be set-off from the back  (east side) of the Speedway at dusk\, at approximately 10:20 pm. \nDate: Friday\, July 4 \nTime: 4:00 – 10:30 PM \nLocation:  Storey Park \n205 E. Franklin Road\, Meridian (corner of Franklin and Meridian roads) \n  \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLive Music\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nPoverty Flats\nStarts at 6 PM \n\n\n\n \nGuilty Pleasure\nStarts at 8 PM \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFood Trucks\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBistro Babe \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nConed \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDaisy’s Italian Ice & Gelati \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Hood Culinary \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKettle Corn \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSlay the Snow \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSoMe Acai \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTacos Y Torta El Paco \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA few things to note:​ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Bark Park will close a 1/2 hour before dark to secure the necessary fireworks safety zone.\nNo personal fireworks are allowed in the park.\nNo glass containers are allowed in the park.\nRoads in the park will also be closed to accommodate the fireworks safety zone\, please use caution.\nThe limited parking within Storey Park is reserved for ADA.    There will be a drop-off zone off Franklin Road.\nFor information about races and schedule at the Meridian Speedway\, visit: meridianspeedway.com\nPlease be respectful of the neighbors and businesses in the area.  Do not block driveways and take all trash with you.
