31st anniversary of the Scott Spencer Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic

August 31 – September 4
Hosted annually at Ann Morrison Park, the event brings together locals and tourists alike whoenjoy being surrounded by endless colorful balloons, inspiring music, and their favorite local radio stations. All launches are weather-permitting, however they typically take place starting at 7:15 a.m. and last until as late as 9 a.m. You can frequently see the hot air balloons soaring over downtown Boise, with the occasional balloon falling on historic landmarks, including building rooftops, right in the middle of Broadway avenue, and even the front lawn at our Capitol b free tethered rides on Cap Ed Kids, a chance to meet aeronauts each morning and a one-of-a-kind Nite Glow spectacular, the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic is truly an event you need to experience!

Now in its 98th year, Caldwell Night Rodeo is one of the largest and longest-running annual events in Canyon County, drawing rodeo fans in excess of 45,000 over 5 action-packed nights. Listed among the Top 20 Professional Rodeos AND Top 5 Large Outdoor Rodeos in the nation, Caldwell Night Rodeo features the best professional cowboys, cowgirls and animal athletes in the world and is an annual stop on the professional rodeo tour. As the first rodeo in the Pacific Northwest to ever be held under the lights, Caldwell Night Rodeo offers a true rodeo experience unlike any other. With over 600 world-class contestants and 7 action-packed nightly events, the excitement in our arena is electric. Equally divided by the infamous “Rowdies” and “Civies” – the CNR crowd plays an interactive role in the excitement of this one-of-a-kind rodeo.

Yoga

Yoga For Good

August 6, 10 a.m.
In the spirit of giving, unity and community, Yoga for Good raises funds, raises awareness and brings people together in support of a common cause. Yoga for Good hosts a donation based yoga class the 1st Saturday of every month at Payette Brewing Company. Classes are held within the Taproom space or in the Beer Garden – weather dependent. Each month’s class highlights a different charity and raises funds for their cause!
