Barbarian Brewing Barrel Aged Beer Fest

Join us for the Barbarian Brewing Barrel Aged Fest on Sat Oct 07, 2023, at our Garden City Taproom. Get ready to indulge in a day filled with exquisite barrel-aged beers and great company. This in-person event promises to be a barrel of fun! Starting at 2pm, you’ll have the opportunity to taste 40 different barrel-aged beers that we’ve been aging for years. Mark your calendars, gather your friends, and get ready to savor the bold flavors of barrel-aged beers at the Barbarian Brewing Barrel Aged Fest!

Tickets: $40 advance/online. $50 at the door.

Ticket includes UNLIMITED 2oz POURS of Barrel Aged Beers and a glass to take home.

Food Trucks: Joker’s BBQ, Emily’s Mexican Grill, The Gelato Shop

Live, original music: 2-7pm

Make sure to arrive early as many of these beers are limited in quantity.

Please no dogs and no kids as this event will mostly be held in our production area.

Sour Beer Lineup:

Athena 2022: Foeder fermented golden sour that we blended with a bountiful harvest of Muscat juice. 8% abv

Black Flag 2022: Rum barrel aged Oud Bruin (sour) with blackberries. 9% abv

Blood & Thunder 2022: Spontaneously fermented gold sour with raspberries. 8%

Bluetooth 2021: A teeth staining number of blueberries added to a blend of spontaneously fermented sours. 8% abv

Cherry Pie Sour 2022: Spontaneously fermented barrel aged sour w/ cherries, vanilla and cinnamon. 8% abv

Cry of the Blackbirds 2020, 2021, 2023: Barrel aged red sour with boysenberries and blackberries. 8% abv

Danger Sunset 2021 & 2022: Barrel aged gold sour finished with strawberries and coconuts. 7% abv

Elixir of the Gods- Raspberry 2021: Belgian style Sour Quadruple aged in Port barrels and finished with raspberries. 12% abv

Huginn & Muninn 2020 : Whiskey barrel sour Belgian Quad and Scotch barrel aged Belgian Dark Strong with brett, aged on blackberries. 10%

Maui Sunset 2021: Blend of spontaneously fermented red and gold sour bases. Finished with passion fruit, orange, mango and guava fruit. 12% abv

Ragnarok 2020 & 2021: Barrel aged red sour with peaches. 8% abv

Raise Your Horns 2020, 2021 & 2023: Barrel aged sour with grapefruit, raspberry and lime. 7% abv

Spawn of Barbarian 2019, 2020, 2021: Spontaneously fermented barrel aged sour with huckleberries. 6% abv

Tiger Sunset 2021 & 2022: Spontaneously fermented sour base aged in oak barrels and finished with Tiger’s Blood Snow Cone Mix, watermelon and coconut puree. 7% abv

Valhalla 2022: Spontaneously fermented Oud Bruin barrel aged and finished with rhubarb and strawberries. 9% abv
