Get ready for one of the heaviest nights of the summer. LA-based dubstep duo Barely Alive brings their Overdrive tour to the Knitting Factory in Boise on Friday, June 19 — and if you’ve never seen them live, you’re in for something unlike anything else on the calendar.

Blending fast-paced, heavy sounds with an ’80s synthwave atmosphere, Willie Watkins and Matthew Meier have been sending fans on a high-energy, head-banging journey for nearly a decade. Known for their signature angry logo persona, Barely Alive performs as a single anthropomorphic entity on stage — surrounded by LED boards, lasers, and pyrotechnics for a show that’s as visual as it is loud.

Joining them on the night are supporting acts EDISON COLE and Checkmvte, making this a full evening of hard-hitting electronic music from start to finish
