Lions and tigers… oh my! Falling right between International Tiger Day and World Lion Day, Big Cat Day at Zoo Boise celebrates two of the zoo’s most magnificent residents. Come spend the day getting up close with these incredible animals and learning what makes big cats so special — a perfect outing for animal lovers of all ages.

Watch as lions Ahsoka and Revan and Amur tiger Akasha receive special enrichment, make big cat–themed arts and crafts, and explore a biofact discovery station to learn all about big cats around the world. You can even chat with a zookeeper to ask questions and find out how the team cares for these amazing animals. It’s a fun, educational, and memorable way to connect with wildlife while supporting the zoo’s conservation mission.
