Cat Power | Knitting Factory

August 14 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Indie icon Cat Power brings her singular voice and captivating stage presence to Boise’s Knitting Factory for an intimate evening of music. The moniker of singer-songwriter Chan Marshall, Cat Power has spent decades crafting deeply personal, genre-blurring music that weaves together indie rock, folk, blues, and soul. From haunting originals like “The Greatest” and “Cross Bones Style” to her acclaimed reinterpretations of classic songs, her performances are mesmerizing and emotionally raw — the kind of show that lingers long after the final note.

The Knitting Factory is the perfect room for it. As one of downtown Boise’s premier concert houses, the intimate, general-admission space puts you right up close to the stage, with crisp sound and the buzzing energy of a packed floor. Located in the heart of downtown, it’s surrounded by bars and restaurants — making it easy to grab dinner and drinks before the show and keep the night going after.

Whether you’ve followed Cat Power for years or you’re discovering her music for the first time, this is a rare and unforgettable night with one of indie music’s most enduring voices.
