Freedom Fireworks Show | Hunters Creek Park

Cap off Star’s all-day Hometown Celebration with the Freedom Fireworks Show, lighting up the night sky over Hunters Creek Park. Locals consider it one of the best fireworks displays in the entire Treasure Valley — the grand finale to a full day of patriotic fun, from the morning Firecracker Fun Run and Hometown Parade to the evening Spirit of the Red, White & Blue Concert.

Before the fireworks, Mayor Chadwick takes the stage in front of the U.S. flag to lead the invocation, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a reading of the preamble to the U.S. Constitution. Then settle in as the sky bursts into color. Food vendors set up in the west parking lot near the skatepark from late afternoon through the end of the show, so come hungry and make a night of it.
