Heritage & Harvest

Hay Day celebrates the beauty of autumn, Caldwell’s western heritage, and the agricultural traditions—past and present—that make this region so special. With a focus on the grape harvest, hops, pumpkins, seeds, antique tractors, industrial equipment, local vendors, and hands-on agricultural activities for families and kids, Hay Day offers a warm and welcoming way to experience the season. It is a festive afternoon that brings together community, heritage, and harvest in a way that feels uniquely Caldwell.

This is a new Signature Fall event for 2026!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

1–5 PM | Vendors and Ag Activities

1–2:30 PM | Live Music from Boulder Hill

2:30–3:30 PM | Country Swing and Line Dance from Dirt Road Dancing

3:30–4:30 PM | Live Music from Fiddle Express

4:15 PM | Chicken Drop Bingo

Live Music | Boulder Hill | 1:00-2:30 pm

Boulder Hill blends Newgrass and Traditional music genres with meticulously layered vocal harmonies. Their ensemble includes a standup bass, mandolin, acoustic guitar, two fiddles and a dobro.

Line Dancing | Dirt Road Dancing | 2:30-3:30 pm

DRD always brings the party! It’s the perfect chance for families, friends, and first‑timers to jump in, learn a few steps, and add a little extra rhythm to the harvest celebration. DRD offers easy‑to‑learn moves and a welcoming teaching style anytime they lead the dance floor.

Live Music | Fiddle Express | 3:30-4:30 pm

Fiddle Express is a well-known group renowned for their tight harmonies on mandolin, guitar, and fiddle. This trio of siblings has achieved great success in the world of bluegrass music, winning various competitions at the state, regional, and national levels. Their music combines traditional tunes with a modern twist, showcasing their unique talent and creativity.

Antique Tractor Show | 1-5 pm

Celebrate Idaho’s agricultural heritage through generations of farming families at the Antique Tractor Show, featuring classic machines that helped build the state’s farming legacy.

Treasure Valley Antique Power Association

Chicken Drop Bingo | 4:15 pm

What is “Chicken Drop Bingo?” It’s similar to traditional bingo, but the chicken calls the shots. Instead of numbered balls, you’ve got a live chicken strutting around a giant, numbered bingo board. Participants purchase at least one numbered square on the board. Wherever the chicken poops, that square becomes the winning number and the money pot is yours!

It’s absolutely hilarious, surprisingly suspenseful, and quite competitive. This one’s a crowd-pleaser every time.
