Every year since opening in 2014, Boise Brewing has held a beer festival in front of their brewery called Hoptober Freshtival. Attracting over 2000 thirsty patrons each year, Hoptober Freshtival is the largest fresh hop beer festival in Idaho. The festival features over 70 fresh hop and seasonal beers from 35+ local to regional craft breweries. Since Idaho is one of the top 3 states in the country for hop production, the festival works to educate and showcase local hop farmers and the beers that utilize their ingredients.

Participants enjoy specialty beer offerings and play festival games while rubbing elbows with the hop farmers that make the beer possible. The festival has grown substantially over the past few years and is expecting an even higher turnout this year. The festival has helped Boise Brewing give back to their local community while growing their brand as the fun & friendly “brewery next door” providing their patrons a fun way to try new beers and learn more about what makes Idaho beer so great.
