Idaho® Potato Drop | New Year’s Eve Event | Boise, ID

Idaho’s signature holiday event that can only be truly experienced LIVE at the Idaho State Capitol! The Idaho®️ Potato Drop is a free and charitable world-class New Year’s Eve destination that supports local arts, business and charities. KTVB will be on hand broadcasting live across NBC stations in Cecil D. Andrus Park featuring music, sporting events and live art performances.
Starting at 6:00 PM
The Main Stage comes to life with EMCEE Alisha Donahue and Jynx Jenkins hosting the run of show with live music as the world-famous #GlowTato flies to its evening perch during the Idaho®️ Potato Rise.
Athletes test their meddle on the Urban-Air 2023-2024 Ski and Snowboard Exhibition.
This cutting-edge snow park is the first of it’s kind, utilizing tow-in winch systems and custom-built features from Olympic Snow Park designers and top athletes Justin & Mason Kennedy of Onslaught Crew.. Sample delicious local food and beverage by local mobile food vendors after touring the all ages beer garden and vendor camp located throughout the park. Don’t forget to snap a picture with Spuddy Buddy and the Big Idaho®️ Potato Tour truck!
VIP “Very Important Potato”
Join Idaho Concierge & Tower Grill in our elegant VIP Room with craft-cocktails, Hors d’oeuvre’s and live entertainment. VIP guests experience front row views inside our heated VIP room, located center stage. VIP guests also receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win big prizes like a gift basket, Tamarack mountain passes, or a Idaho®️ Potato Air Fryer.

When the countdown to the new year begins, Inland Crane will ‘Drop’ it like it’s hot to a World-Class Fireworks display!
