Keller & The Keels | Knitting Factory

Musical mad scientist Keller Williams brings his Appalachian psychedelic bluegrass project, Keller & The Keels, to Boise’s Knitting Factory for a rare and joyful night of acoustic picking. Joining Williams are award-winning flatpicker Larry Keel and his rock-solid, in-the-pocket bassist wife, Jenny Keel. Formed in 2004, the trio has recorded three beloved albums together — Grass, Thief, and Speed — and with only a handful of shows each year, every performance becomes a high-energy, one-of-a-kind picking party. As Keller puts it, they vowed from the start to keep it rare so that every show would feel special — and it does.

This night is extra special: 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of Grass, the trio’s first album together, which finally gets its first-ever vinyl pressing — available on site.

The Knitting Factory is the perfect room for it.
