Night of a Thousand Pumpkins

October 25, 2025 – 6 pm to 9 pm – at Eagle City Hall.

The City of Eagle is hosting the third annual Night of a Thousand Pumpkins on October 25th from 6pm-9pm.

Dress up and come down to Eagle City Hall for Trunk-or-Treating, kids’ activities, photo opportunities, food vendors, and the return of the Chili Cook-Off (6pm – 8pm only); fun and spooky seasonal music will be provided by a DJ and of course, 1,000 carved pumpkins will light the night!

We will also be collecting food donations for those in need. The Eagle Food Bank will provide donation bins for canned and other non-perishable food items, located inside Eagle City Hall and the Community Hall during the event. The event is free to attend, donations are not required, but gladly accepted.

Pumpkin Carving: Volunteers Needed Before the Event

The City of Eagle is seeking people to help carve 1000 pumpkins for this event. Pumpkin carving sessions will take place from October 21 to October 24, all supplies will be provided, and carving stations will be set up in the Community Hall, at Eagle City Hall, from 12 pm – 8 pm daily.

The carved pumpkins must remain at City Hall to be lit and displayed during the Night of a Thousand Pumpkins event on October 25. You can find your pumpkin at the event and take it home that evening.

Trunk or Treat

If you are interested in participating as a Trunk during the Trunk-or-Treat event please review the following information. To apply, click the icon below.

  • It is free to participate as a Trunk, and it is free for anyone to attend.
  • It is required that you decorate your vehicle.
  • Participating Trunks can only give out pre-packaged candy (other treats must be approved beforehand).
  • Vehicles will start setting up at 4 pm and must be ready to give out candy starting at 6 pm.
  • For the safety of all participants, vehicles are not allowed to leave before the end of the event at 9 pm. No exceptions.
  • We reserve the right to not admit or remove anyone who will not follow these requirements.

Chili Cook-Off

If you are interested in being a part of the Chili Cook-Off during the event, please review the following information. To apply, click the icon below.

  • All ingredients must be pre-cooked before the event.
  • Chili is to be brought ready to eat and must arrive warm. The city will provide electricity for all contestants to plug in their slow cookers to keep their chili’s hot.
  • Contestants are responsible for supplying their own serving utensils and serving the chili during the event.
  • Contestants must prepare a minimum of 6 quarts of chili (Standard slow cooker size).
  • Contestants are responsible for cleaning up their space.

Food Drive to benefit the Eagle Food Bank:

Night of a Thousand Pumpkins -and the pumpkin carving leading up to it- is free to attend and donations are not required; however, we will be collecting canned and non-perishable food items for the Eagle Food Bank, to help them continue to provide a valuable resource to those in need.

Donation bins will be located in the Eagle Community Hall during pumpkin carving hours starting October 21st through October 24th as well as inside Eagle City Hall and the Community Hall during the event on October 25 from 6pm – 9pm.
