Pumpkin Carving Volunteers Needed Before the Event

The City of Eagle is seeking people to help carve 1000 pumpkins for this event. Pumpkin carving sessions will take place from
October 19 to October 23, all supplies will be provided, and carving stations will be set up in the Community Hall, at Eagle City Hall, from 12 pm – 8 pm daily.

The carved pumpkins must remain at City Hall to be lit and displayed during the Night of a Thousand Pumpkins event on October 24. You can find your pumpkin at the event and take it home that evening.

Drop In Carving:

When: October 19 – October 23 – Noon to 8 pm

Night of a Thousand Pumpkins 2026

Date: October 24, 2026

Location: Eagle City Hall Campus – 660 E Civic Ln, Eagle ID 83616

Time: 6pm – 9pm

Join us, if you dare, for our 4th annual Night of a Thousand Pumpkins! Come dressed as your favorite ghoul and go through the always popular Trunk-or-Treat, witness the spooky decorations throughout the grounds of the Haunted City Hall, take part in the Return of the Chili Cook Off, and see the spectacle of 1,000 carved jack-o-lanterns placed throughout the entire area. And as the night goes on, there will be plenty of other activities and food trucks to help keep you busy with spooky fun.

We will also be collecting food donations for those in need. The Eagle Food Bank will provide donation bins for canned and other non-perishable food items, located inside Eagle City Hall and the Community Hall during the event. The event is free to attend, donations are not required, but gladly accepted.

On October 24th:

Decorators needed 9am -1pm and 1pm – 6pm.

Chili Cook-Off volunteers needed from 4pm – 8pm.
