ERIK ESCOBAR

is a stand-up and improv comedian who has performed at clubs, colleges and theatres all over the nation independently, as well as with the Almost Asian Comedy Tour, and opening for acts such as Rex Navarrete and Jerry Seinfeld. You can catch him on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, FUSE TV’s Fresh Faces of Comedy, EPIX, Buzzfeed, VH1, the upcoming feature film VHYes alongside Tim Robbins and Thomas Lennon. And don’t forget to check out his TedTalk!

He has won first place at various contests including in the Otaku Comedy Tournament, East Bay’s Funniest Comic, The Ultimate Burner Show, Best Comedian at the Mic Diaz Awards and The Indi Comedy Contest. He holds a Masters in Fine Arts in Comedy Theory and Studies from Goddard College and resides in Los Angeles, CA.
