Heavy-rock fans, this one’s for you. Two titans of the modern stoner-metal scene, The Sword and Red Fang, co-headline a thunderous night at Boise’s Knitting Factory. Austin’s The Sword built their reputation on massive riffs, doom-laden grooves, and epic, fantasy-tinged songwriting across acclaimed albums like Age of Winters and Warp Riders. Portland’s Red Fang bring their beloved blend of sludgy, hook-heavy hard rock and irreverent energy, with fan favorites like “Prehistoric Dog” and “Wires” that hit like a freight train live.
Rounding out the bill is Spoon Benders, adding even more heavy psych energy to a night packed with monster riffs. Come early, bring your stamina, and prepare for a wall of sound.
The Knitting Factory is the perfect room for it. As one of downtown Boise’s premier concert houses, the intimate, general-admission space puts you right up close to the stage, with crisp sound and the buzzing energy of a packed floor. Located in the heart of downtown, it’s surrounded by bars and restaurants — making it easy to grab dinner and drinks before the show and keep the night going after.
