Twilight Criterium | Idaho Capitol Building

July 11

One of Boise’s most thrilling summer traditions returns as the Bailey Glasser Boise Twilight Criterium celebrates 39 consecutive years of high-speed crit racing in the heart of downtown. Presented by Lactalis, this nationally renowned event is part of the American Criterium Cup — a six-race series across six states that brings the fastest professional riders and teams in the country (and beyond) to compete for an equal men’s and women’s purse. Spectators line the downtown course for a full day and night of edge-of-your-seat racing, capped by the marquee pro races under the lights.

There’s something for the whole family all day long. The action kicks off at 11:00 AM with the fan-favorite Kids’ Ride starting in front of the Idaho State Capitol, followed by junior, amateur, and masters races throughout the afternoon. The ICCU Fan Expo opens at 1:00 PM with a regional beverage garden, vendors, food trucks, activities, and prime views of the course. There’s even a one-mile fun run on the course benefiting Girls on the Run before the evening’s Opening Ceremony. Then settle in for the Women’s and Men’s Pro 1/2 races to close out the night.

Bring the family, grab a spot along the course, and experience the speed and energy of Boise’s longest-running cycling spectacle.
