The Treasure Valley’s biggest summer celebration returns as the Western Idaho Fair takes over Expo Idaho for 10 action-packed days. A beloved tradition since 1897, the fair is a celebration of agriculture, ranching, and Idaho life — with something for every member of the family. Wander the carnival midway, take in the thrilling rides, and feast on all the classic fair food you can handle. Explore the exhibit halls packed with 4-H and FFA livestock, competitive exhibits, arts and crafts, vendors, and more.

Headlining the fun is the Grandstand Concert Series, bringing big-name acts to Boise all week long. This year’s lineup kicks off with country-rock star Brantley Gilbert on Monday, Aug. 24, and includes alt-rock favorites Third Eye Blind on Wednesday, Aug. 26, with more acts across the run. General admission to the concerts is free with fair admission, and reserved seating options are available.

From petting zoos to pig races, live entertainment to funnel cakes, the Western Idaho Fair is the perfect way to send off summer. Grab the family and make some memories!
