Experience Zoo Boise in a whole new way at Wild After 5:00, a special after-hours evening offered once a month from July through September. Whether your daytime schedule is packed or you just love a summer evening outing, this is the perfect chance to explore the zoo as the day cools down. All public areas of the zoo stay open for evening exploring, with the carousel running all night and plenty of special activities to enjoy.

Take part in Butterflies in Bloom (5:30–7:00), visit the Zoo Farm for animal feedings ($3), get creative with face painting ($5), or hop aboard the Conservation Cruise ($5/rider). This month’s special entertainment features Starbelly School of Dance’s Deja Zoo, kicking off at 6:30 PM. Food, drinks, and snacks are available for purchase throughout the evening — just leave the outside food at home (reusable water bottles are welcome).

Bring the whole family and make it a memorable summer night at the zoo.
