Branch Weaving Wall Hanging Workshop with Barbara Balkin

Join us for a “Wine & Weave” branch weaving workshop at The Boise Co-op Village Classroom. Learn weaving techniques and create a one-of-a-kind wall hanging on a handmade branch loom. Choose your own color palette from a large assortment of fibers.

All materials are provided, however, bringing any objects* or fibers of your own will enhance your art and make it more personal. (*Lace, yarns, feathers, grasses, flowers with stems, beads).

If you have attended this class before, you will learn some new techniques.

Your ticket includes your first glass of wine and charcuterie from the Boise Co-op Deli.

About the Instructor:

Your host, Barbara Balkin, is the owner of Back Gate Studio. Barbara is a fiber artist, painter, and teacher. She teaches and brings multiple formats of art workshops to folks of all ages across the Treasure Valley, bringing unique art experiences to the community.
