The Wassmuth Center for Human Rights is a cornerstone of Idaho’s commitment to dignity, education, and understanding. For more than two decades, the Center has worked to strengthen communities by encouraging dialogue, fostering empathy, and promoting respect for human rights for all.
Through immersive educational programs for students and educators, public exhibits, and community conversations, the Wassmuth Center helps Idahoans better understand one another and confront the roots of intolerance. At the heart of this work is the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial—the only Anne Frank memorial in the United States—which serves as a powerful space for reflection, learning, and civic engagement.
By creating opportunities for learning and connection, the Wassmuth Center empowers individuals of all ages to stand up for human rights, build safer communities, and help shape a more inclusive future for Idaho.
